"Touching lives –Restoring families"

Main Place Youth, Inc is an adolescent girls residential discipleship program that offers the hope of restoration.

Few things are as painful as helplessly watching your daughter’s potential slip away through self-destructive behavior.  Main Place Youth can help.  We work directly with young women, their parents, and even siblings and extended family members to interrupt patterns and behaviors that destroy futures and families.  Our mission, and indeed, our passion, is to change lives and restore families, so that all members can grow and prosper as part of a loving and supportive unit.

Our Home

Kingman is a caring community of 3,000 people. We are 35 miles east of Pratt and 38 miles west of Wichita. Kingman offers a wide variety of services, a large park along the river, numerous churches, a fine school system, and an exceptional library. A wide range of medical services are available including a hospital, EMS, doctors, dentists, and a mental health center. Kingman’s hometown atmosphere helps the girls develop a sense of acceptance and belonging enabling them to use their newly-learned behaviors.  We receive support from numerous individuals, corporations, and organizations in Kingman, including the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, Pizza Hut, and Whites Foodliner grocery store.  It is a generous community that has embraced Main Place Youth, Inc and the girls in our home.

The goal for most of our girls is a return to their homes and families after some time at Main Place Youth, Inc.  We have found that it is often necessary to work with both the young lady and her family to create change and growth that will make the return home successful.  Main Place Youth insists on a selective admission policy to maintain the positive environment we believe is necessary for this personal growth and change, not only for each individual girl, but also for her peers who are walking through this experience by her side.
